Psychology Session

'I am really grateful for all the time and help you have given me and I feel like our sessions have made me become a better person and to be able to deal with my mental health…Thank you so much Iona!'

'I wanted to write to say   t h a n k   y o u. In all honesty however, working with you has felt as normal and natural as meeting a friend each week for coffee to discuss my concerns, which I think is owed to your understanding approach which I can't quite sum up, but I felt is definitely is defined by the casual and the constructed in equal balance which had the effect of lowering my guard and opening me from the start.'

'Its been a big help, you have been kind, welcoming & friendly, a positive start to my week'

'With your help I've admitted to struggling in certain areas of my life and have learnt to accept that this is OK, this is pretty normal in fact. Perfect doesn't exist. I am developing the habit of being kinder to myself which I hope will lead to the happier, more confident and fulfilled person that I want to be. Looking at core beliefs and 'rules' that I've subconsciously adopted was a pivotal moment and has helped me understand myself and also have greater tolerance of others. Thank you'

'Thank you again for your kindness, encouragement and support over the past few months. It's been a pleasure to know you and work with you.  I'm eternally grateful for your support and I'll certainly be continuing to use the techniques that you've taught me. You've really gone above and beyond in your care for me and that in itself is and has been an incentive for me to continue working hard on my recovery. Ultimately, working with someone that's devoted as much time as you have to helping me on my journey to recovery has made me feel better about myself and about the remainder of the journey ahead.'

' I instantly felt comfortable and at ease in our sessions. Your empathy and expertise resulted in a level of honesty and trust that I've avoided in the past and I'm no longer scared to open up to some of the people in my life that can also positively influence my recovery and beyond. I would highly recommend working with you.'

'You are always with me, a kind voice in my head. It has been lifechanging, thank you'

'I couldn’t have wished for a better therapist, Iona is kind, compassionate and very sympathetic. She was really good at putting me at ease in our sessions and making me feel calmer and reassured. Iona is very professional and has a wealth of knowledge about OCD and anxiety and treatment methods.'

'I cannot stress enough how grateful I am for my sessions with Iona, and I cannot praise her highly enough. She has been so supportive and encouraging and has helped me so much. She has armed me with so many tools and techniques to help me. I feel more confident and much more positive about the future. Thank you so much Iona, you are my hero.'
